Sony offers several Configure-to-Order (CTO) laptop models. These systems allow shoppers to design their own notebooks. The Vaio VPCEB490X CTO is one such model. It belongs to the Vaio EB Series, a line of laptops that have 15.5 inch displays.

The VPCEB490X CTO offers consumers the flexibility of upgrading select hardware components. It is possible to build a Vaio EB Series system just as you would like it. Opt for more system memory, a faster processor, larger hard drive or a better graphics controller. All this is possible.

While Vaio VPCEB490X CTO is a great option for some, it may not be for others. Typically, CTO models cost a little more than their prebuilt counterparts. They also require longer shipping times because of the assembly that's required.
